Kite surfing
8 May 2010As we head into winter, I thought it would be nice to show a few pics from warmer days. Nelson is an ideal spot for kite surfing: good water and reliable sea breeze from mid- to late afternoon.
That was a weird day: a strong breeze but look at the sea mist over towards the Abel Tasman Park.
The height these guys reach sometimes is hard to believe:
The youngsters look really stylish (well, I call them youngsters):
but not all of them are young:
Just look at him go! Hard to believe that Ernie is 67 years old (67 years young more like it):
